nagbibinata

Maaga akong nakauwi ngayon! Siguro mga 2 pm nakauwi na ako… :))

Wait, sino ba to?!? Marvin?
Nikki: OUCH! Kaboses ko ba si Marvin?!?
Mommy: ay Nikki, ikaw pala iyan! Haha!

Haha.. oo nga pala, ito iyong first super informal and mostly tagalog post ko.. haha.. wala lang… sharing… :))

sick.

I’m sick.
I’m ill.
(I really can’t remember the appropriate sentence.)

I feel terrible right now. :( I’ve been sick since yesterday and I can barely move… :( My whole body is in pain. When I speak, I sound like a man. My voice is even lower than my brother’s and mind you he’s got a VERY low voice. I can’t taste any food I eat. After climbing the stairs, I feel like I just climbed a mountain. I can’t smell; I can’t even breathe properly.

But I feel much better right now unlike yesterday where I almost passed out on my way home. I feel “heavy” the whole day. I can’t clearly think during my exam in Philo 11. I can’t even follow the steps that my professor in PE is teaching us. In math, I barely understand our lesson and I’m freezing to death even if I’m already wearing a jacket. On my last class, I almost fell asleep because I feel so drowsy.

It’s raining hard right now and I feel so cold. But I have to pull myself together because my grandmother’s having a party later and we ALL have to attend.

O yeah, congratulations to Meg!!!! Naka-globe ka na rin!!! O yeah… you’re one of us… :)

psyched!

OMG. I can’t believe what just happened the other night. Haha. Okay, I may be overreacting a little bit because what happened wasn’t really that much big a deal. But I must say I was amazed with my friend. :))

So here goes.

We were talking the other night on the phone, talking about lots of stuffs like problems, experiences, etc. Then our topic suddenly shifted to my blogger account. (I really can’t remember how we shifted into that topic.) Anyway, I made this blog account mainly for my English 1 requirement. (This is actually equal to 30% of my grade. So every once in a while I post some entries to not make this account barren and worthless.)

Honestly, NO ONE knows the URL of this account because I was planning to let only my professor know then after my English 1 class, I’ll just simply delete it. Then, my friend started guessing. Since we have nothing to talk about that time, we “played” that guessing game.

I gave a clue that my URL contained four words. She gave two guesses; they were absolutely wrong because she always include my name on them. Haha. Then I gave her my second clue: it was a phrase/sentence. (I’m not exactly sure.) She said a phrase with the word “write” on it. I said she was getting close because she got one word almost correctly. She gave another guess and she got another word right, “through”. Then I said I want to stop the game because she’s getting really close to finding the answer. She then gave one last guess. Unbelievable but true, she got the whole URL right. I could have just denied that her guess was right. But I wasn’t able to control myself from laughing. So all in all, she got it right with just five guesses. Well it would be more amazing if it was only three but still it is jut a one-digit number. Right?!

Also, we talked about a certain dilemma which I couldn’t really decipher myself. So I consulted her. I started sharing and explaining things then she said what she thought was the reason of my dilemma. Giving it some thought, I realized she was right. I really felt better that time though she made me cry for a while. Haha. The problem was a bit confidential and complicated so it’s better to not post it here where anyone could possibly see it. Well, anyone who knows my URL. ;p

I almost forgot! We broke my previous record! My longest phone conversation was with my other friend who is now in the US which is 5 hours nonstop. We beat that because we were able to talk for 6 hours and 40 minutes straight! (After that conversation, my ears really hurt badly.)

word of the day: "you're pissing me out!"...ü

Well… today is a very interesting day, though I had my usual routine like waking up at around 5am in the morning, taking a bath and then eating my breakfast.

My first class was, as always, been terrifying. I can barely smile or even move in this class. Even if our professor already cracked a joke, I’m still having second thoughts if I’d laugh or just stare at him with a blank face. Haha. As usual, he dismissed our class exactly 8:30am which gave me just a small period of time to travel from the 2nd floor to the 3rd floor of the other wing of Palma hall. I rushed knowing that I’m almost late for my next class considering that 25% of my grade is based on my attendance.

When I arrived at my next class, our prof was not yet there. So, lucky me! I’m not late… ü After a few minutes, my friend arrived all sweaty and exhausted. I asked him why he looked so tired and said that he came here all the way from the shopping center just by brisk walking. In estimation of about a minute or so, one of our classmates announced that our prof send a message (through text) that she wouldn’t be able to attend our class today for she had an asthma attack. After hearing the news, I can’t help but to laugh after what just my friend had gone through. Haha. He was a bit PISSED OFF, but eventually he just laughed at his situation.

After a 3-hour break, my last class started, it was really fun because we barely had lecture that time. Our prof just talked about the “boycott” thing happening around the campus and a few lectures on two-dimensional coordinate system. Also, there were a lot of interruptions because of the announcements being given by other students encouraging our class to join the boycott. I must say, it was really encouraging to join the boycott. haha.

Finally, my class ended. Yipee! ü

Immediately, I went in front of Vinzon’s hall to meet up with a friend. We sat on the bench for a while to rest and then we headed to Trinoma to eat lunch. After we ate, we “visited” some stores we like looking for a nice backpack. We saw one at Artwork.

When we were at People Are People(PRP), I started teasing my friend about a certain topic. (We were just kidding around.) While she was looking at some clothes on the rack and I'm still teasing her, she suddenly blurted out: “you’re pissing me out!” At first I didn’t know what my reaction would be. I was confused because I didn’t understand what she just said, and then I started laughing because I realized that she said the wrong word. Instead of “out”, she should have said “off”. After that, we started laughing so hard all the way through the exit of the store. We can’t stop laughing even while we’re walking.
Well, that’s unforgettable.

Before going home, we went to Bench to look at their new designs. We were still chatting about some stuff… Something happened. It’s too complicated to explain but I ended up going home with a bump on my head. And it still hurt a little bit right now… :(

depressing reality

This day is sooooo depressing.

Today was our first exam in math60 and I know that I should have studied really hard for it. It’s just that I did my other assignments that time and it left me no choice but to study "later". (Let’s cut it short...ü). In conclusion, I’m not that prepared for the exam and it did have a great effect on me. I found the test really hard and made me not confident on MOST of my answers. Given those statements, I believe that I only have a 30:70 chance of having a good score. 30% “I’ll pass” : 70% “Dream on passing that exam!” ( You barely studied!)

I know I deserve this.... and I promise from now on, I’ll always prepare for all my exams especially MATH60. Haha.

Another thing, it' really hard to find an IKOT jeep around 8-9 am in the morning at the AS walk. It’s troubling me because I need to be on time for my PE because my prof is a bit strict. :(

Having my first “official” PE class a while ago, it was a bit uneasy because I got used to having 3-hour break after my first class. So i think it will take me some time before I get used to the fact that my 3-hour break is no longer existent. :((

UAAP Opening

Yesterday was the opening of the 71st UAAP season at the Araneta Coliseum. All the 8 universities, namely, UP, ADMU, UST, DLSU, UE, FEU, NU and AdU were there to watch the opening event. The coliseum was filled with agitated and vigorous audience and participants; everyone was cheering for their college.

I was there. It was really fun but tiring. There were too many people and when my friend and I got inside the coliseum, the chairs on UP’s section were already filled. We then ended up sitting on the steps instead. If it wasn’t a requirement for my PE, I would not be there. My butt cheeks really hurt and my legs were sore from all the walking and standing.

Though I whine about all these stuffs, I still had fun cheering for my university and watching the different dances performed in the opening ceremonies; the performances were very creative and symbolic.

When the opening ceremonies were done, the first basketball game, FEU vs. AdU, started. I wasn’t able to watch the game because I need to find the UP Pep Squad to countersign my ticket for “official proof” that I was there; so I went looking for them. After my ticket was countersigned by one of the members of the Up Pep Squad, I decided to go home because I’m already exhausted. Haha.

That day was really unforgettable because it was my first time I was able to attend the UAAP opening or at least I was required to attend.
